Sun. 26. [26 August 1894] Horrid cold - felt rather miserable. Elsa and I did history and I translated Algheyas. Very hot. After tea went down to Innsbr¸ck to see the Bauernfest - rather amusing to see all the old peasant costumes some of them of the time of the 100 Years' War. Ugly people and most of them small. We dined in town and so home in the dusk. The Grosse Berge Beleuchtung was not very lovely. Talked with Mother on the balcony.
