Tues. 28. [28 August 1894] Up at 4.30, breakfast 5 and off at 5.30
through a peerless morning to the Patscher Kofte. A little old moon
high above the east. Walked up with a tram conductor who knew us!
Breakfasted at 8 at Heilige Wasser - in the little pilgrimage church
were Ex Votos dating back to the middle of the 17th cent. At the top at
11 - delicous easy walk. The hairy campanula all over and a
profusion of cranberries. L'Amore came with us. Lunched at H.W.
and then down to the Lanzer See where we bathed and so home just
12 hours after we had left.
