Sun 8. [8 March 1903] Pleasanter, cool air. Wrote my diary and
talked to the Captain and Mr Grier. Land in sight to port, islands.
Read the papers and talked to the other American Mr Maughan (I
think, or Mohn.) He was in Cabu in the war. Bridge after dinner with the
Hanburys. Slept on deck.
