2 Audley Sq. They haven't begun disliking me yet! I am being so much amused. I arrived at tea time and found another Russell of some kind here - not quite of this kind for he was very silent. He soon went and then Lady A. [Arthur] Flora and I sat talking. She is a nice clever woman, I do like her so much. Now I'm dressing for dinner - my shoes don't match my gown, isn't it a bore. All the people who are coming have been described to me, but I will tell you about them tomorrow. Ever your very affectionate daughter Gertrude.
